How do I apply for the Certificate?
APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED BEGINNING MAY 1.
The process is 3 steps:
- Click the link below, which will open a form. Complete the form and e-mail it to InfectionControl@pathology.ubc.ca. When your registration is approved you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to apply to UBC through Non-degree Studies.
REGISTER FOR THE CERTIFICATE...
- Follow the instructions in the e-mail on how to apply to UBC. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from Non-degree Studies of
a) receipt of your on-line application
b) your UBC student number
c) your registration eligibility date and instructions on how to register for the course through the Student Service Centre.
- Login to the Student Service Centre. Pay the non-refundable pre-registration deposit. Register in the waitlist section (99X) of the course(s) you were approved for.
Why do I have to register in the WAITLIST (99X) section?
ALL students register in the waitlist section. Students who have completed steps 1-3 above will be transferred to the regular online course section (99C), space permitting. Registering in the waitlist does not guarantee placement in this course. It is recommended that you access the SSC periodically to check your status. It is YOUR responsibility to check the SSC for registration changes.
