The Summer Student Fellowship Program of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, UBC Faculty of Medicine has been established for the purpose of providing undergraduate and medical students with either basic or clinical research experiences, or clinical experiences in laboratory medicine under supervision and mentorship of our Department’s Faculty.
The Summer Student Fellowship Program Chair will be appointed by the Department Head for a term of 4 years with an opportunity to be reappointed.
The Chair and other faculty member as required, will review applications and select students based on their academic record for the past two years and their proposed research project.
Students will receive an award of $3000 over 2 months.
The following Faculty Members have provided their name for a permission to contact list. If you are interested in working under their supervision this summer, you are encouraged to contact them by email or phone to inquire about a position that they may have available. Should you be selected by the faculty as an appropriate co-applicant, you will fill out the application form together.
